The Show was great this year...... the weather was great, the crowd was great and the sales were great. I started out alittle tired..... the night before I was partying and dancing at my son's wedding in Clayton, NC. and then the night before that .... Firday night, was the rehearsal dinner party. It was a very busy week and and an even busier weekend. At times I didn't  know if I would ever make it till Monday , November 14th. But I lived to tell about it. It took alot of planning ahead, being very organized and lots and lots .....and LOTS of list. I had my pottery priced and packed up a week ahead of time. George took the tables on Wednesday, and we set up for the Sunday show on Thursday. We went back on Friday the day of the rehearsal and the rehearsal dinner, to finish setting up the booth. Jason even went with us..... feeling alittle quilty from planning the wedding on my show weekend I think. I thought it was very sweet of him to go to try and help.  But it was so windy that we couldn't really finish up. So the day of the show we got there an  1 1/2 hours early. By Show time, at 10:00 a.m. we were ready for the crowd that had already started making their way through the greenhouses.
This year we had a band to play.... a little too much country music for me, but most of the attendees seemed to enjoy it. They did play a bluegrass song .... one I think.... so Jennifer ( our daugther ) got out there and clogged to it. They told her later how much they enjoyed seeing her clog.
All in all .... it was quite a wonderful weekend, although very, very tiring and stressful. The rehearsal dinner that I throw was a big success and so much fun. The wedding was very beautiful and I loved seeing my baby so happy with his new wife. And the show was one of the best of the 8 shows I have participated in. The weekend went by so fast..... we were busy every minute of every day....... I don't think I would do it again for anything..... But I wouldn't trade the memories I have of this time in my son's life for anything either.
